. God - Creating, Supporting, Watching, Guiding, Protecting
The Universal Creator God has no birth date since He is beyond the birth and death cycle. God is eternal from time immemorial and does not come and go in reincarnation. God has no religion but He allows us to practice any religion we got by birth or we adopted later. All religions and their Scriptures are Holy. While we should love our own religion, we all have a responsibility to respect all other religions and their Holy Books/Grunths. No one can imagine God’s shape and carve a statue or paint his image. He is formless, nameless, and invisible. However, He patiently listens to every call in any language by any local name, given to God as per one’s religious belief. You need not shout aloud, beat drums, or ring bells to call Him or draw His attention. If you pray sincerely even quietly, singly, or in a group, He promptly listens to all prayers of all living beings and resolves promptly. Out of our long list of wants (greed), God blesses us with our immediate needs, and rest will follow later.
God’s
is a house of love, devotion, and bliss. It is not a business center for monitory
transactions. God is not pleased by our placing costly ornaments, cash, or
material objects at the place of worship. The Supreme Lord (God) is pleased
only if we distribute some money to the needy, food to the hungry, and water to
the thirsty. These could be human beings, animals, birds, or insects. We should also
provide water and manure to the Trees
and Plants as they give us food.
God commands
the whole universe and perhaps many universes. Although all Temples, Masques,
Churches, Gurdwaras, or other Worship
Places are holy to meet/ greet God-loving people yet God is not confined to any
one place, anywhere in the universe. At the same time, He is omnipresent, at all
places and at all times. He is within as well as outside every living being. If
we do good deeds, sing His prayers alone or in groups, at home or at the place of
worship, help each other and live in harmony, God is pleased and He blesses us
good health, happiness, and inner peace.
As
we maintain full faith in Him and surrender to Him completely and
unconditionally, He helps us to get rid of the bad effects of five human Evils-
Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment, and Haughtiness. At that stage, we become free
from fear and animosity. While standing up or sitting down or while sleeping, we
should remember God and stay in peace. You will feel no fear because God is
always in and around you providing good guidance and a strong protective shield.
God
is the Inner-knower who knows our grief, pains, and sorrow. He regularly searches the hearts of all living beings and He knows everything about everybody and at all
times. That is why we sleep without worry, and we awake without worry. By His
grace, we get peace in our home as well as outside.
God Himself
created the whole universe (many piles of earth and many galaxies) but still, He remains
unattached. For sustenance of life in all living beings, He created Water (Oceans/Seas,
Lakes and Rivers) Vegetation, Air, Earth (soil), and Fire. He enjoys seeing His
creation blossoming and growing.
For housing our
soul, God has created the fortress of our body by binding together air, water, and fire. The Creator established the
nine gates (two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, one mouth, and two outlets one
each for passing urine and stools). The invisible Tenth Gate is below the
forehead and centered between two eye-brows is the dwelling of soul (the
infinite, unseen God). He has also created the sun, the moon and stars as great
lamps to fill the sky with their enormous light. Within the fortress (Our
physical Body) are the stores and markets where the business is transacted. The
Supreme Lord weighs our deeds with the perfect weights and without any weighing
machine. He Himself appraises its value and buys the Best and leaves the Rest. The
Supreme Lord has an abundance of treasures, all the powers and He is all-pervading.
However, only a few lucky and sincere devotees understand this truth. Such
devotees are free from fear of death/ demons. These devotee blossoms like the
lotus flower in the lake water and get the treasure of love and inner happiness.
It is never too
late to start loving God and stay blessed. Start remembering him and singing
songs of His glory, while walking, traveling, driving, or even when you are
going to sleep. While you are asleep, you are inactive but God is always with
you. Therefore while you get up in the morning, remember God and thank Him profusely.
You should do your daily prayer before starting your daily work in the office or
even when working at home. If you take
one step forward, God is will come forward by taking many thousands of steps
and embrace you.
