One God for All. There is no My god and Your God, but just one(1) Universal God of all living and non-livings, in the entire universe The Universal Creator God is neither born nor dies, since GOD is beyond birth and death cycle. God is eternal from time immemorial and does not come and go in reincarnation. As per Hindu scriptures, before creation of this universe, there was nothing but just some mist/fog. Therefore God first created Himself and then created His Universe, comprising of many Galaxies, many Stars and many Planets/Earths. No one can imagine God’s shape and carve His statue out of a rock or wax, metal or paint an image on a paper/cloth or wall. He is formless, nameless and invisible but God listens to any call from any living being in any language, by any local name, given as per one’s religious belief.
Creator and Destroyer. God is all
powerful (Omnipotent) / Almighty. God likes His creation to bloom. God is the Creator
and Destroyer of all at any time and place and at His will. God maintains
balance of living beings in the entire universe.
Location of God.
God is not sitting millions of miles away in some remote part of His universe. He
does not live in East or West, North or South, in Mountains or below Oceans. God
is not confined or resting in any Temple, Masque, Church, Gurdwara , Mountain
or Cave. He is omnipresent, at all
places and at all times. In fact, God particle (soul) is present in all living beings
, watching, guiding and protecting all.
Great Giver.
God is the only Giver and we all are the beggars/takers. One need not shout
aloud, beat drums or ring bells to call Him or draw His attention. Even if we
pray quietly but sincerely, He listen to our long list of
wants which are more than our requirements. since we have an element of greed
and have many expectations. God provides us with our immediate needs well in
time and balance comes later.
God needs Love
.One need not prepare sweets , collect flowers, pluck fruits and place earthen
lamp as offering in front of one’s stone god (Statue) or large painting of demi
god. He is not pleased by placing a costly ornament, cash or material object,
in a place of worship. The supreme Lord (God) is pleased, if one distributes
some of his/her earnings to the needy, food to the poor persons, food and water
to the hungry/thirsty animals or throws grains to the birds.
Protector and Guide.
God in the form of soul resides in all
living beings. God has given us freedom to use God given five senses ( Seeing(eyes),
Hearing(ears),Smelling(Nose) ,Taste ( tongue)
and Touch (Skin).To act wisely, God has also provided us two hands, and two feet to acts as per our
need. He lets us do our thinking,
decision making and acting as we like. God watches and keeps an account of our
deeds.
God
likes us to do good deeds, sing prayers in His name, help each other and live
in harmony, When God is pleased with us, he blesses us good health, happiness
and inner peace. As we progress in life, have full faith in God and surrender
to Him completely and unconditionally, He helps us to get rid of bad effects of
five Evils- Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment, and Haughtiness. At that stage, we
become free from fear and animosity.
Food to Sustain.
For sustenance of life in all living beings, God created Water (Oceans/Seas, Lakes
and Rivers), Vegetation, Air, Earth (soil) and Fire. He enjoys to watch His creation blossoming.
The Tenth Gate,
For housing our soul, God has created the fortress of our body by binding
together air, water and fire. The Creator established the nine gates (Two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, one mouth, and two
outlets, one each for passing urine and stools). The invisible Tenth Gate is below the forehead and
centred between two eye-brows is the dwelling of soul (the infinite, unseen God).
Source of Light.
God has also created the sun, the moon and billions of stars as great lamps to
fill the sky with their enormous light. This is needed for our survival.
Role of our Body.
Our physical body if set of bones, skin,
organs and interconnecting nerves. The body of each living being has unique
identity with many lines and signs carved on our hands and feet. Our physical
body is the fortress which has many stores and markets and where the business
is transacted.
We pay for our deeds.
The Supreme Lord examines our deeds with the perfect weights and without any
weighing machine. He Himself appraises its value and buys the jewel and leaves
the rest. The supreme Lord has abundance of treasures ,all the powers and He is all-pervading. We reap fruits as per our
deeds. However, only few lucky and sincere devotees understand this truth. Such
devotee is free from fear of death/ demons. Such devotee blossoms forth like
the lotus flower in the water and get the treasure of love.
Our Duty.
While walking, standing up or sitting down or while sleeping, we should
remember God, pay gratitude and sing His praises to stay in. peace. We will
feel no fear, because God is always in and around us, providing good guidance
and strong protective shield.
Sing His Praises.
Some of us sing songs and dance in front of our Stone God (deity) or paining of
Demi God/Goddess. This is absolutely false to assume than God/Goddess will get
pleased by our dancing moments and melodious songs. The One Lord, and Master of
whole universe, is our Protector. He is the Inner-knower and regularly searches
hearts of all living beings .God knows everything about everybody and at all
times. That is why we sleep without worry, and we awake without worry.
Summary.
Your God and my God is our God and he is not pleased by any material offering
but by good/noble deeds. God Himself created the whole universe (creation) but
still He remains unattached. We must earn honestly, share our earnings to help
the needy and sing day and night praises of God, Remember faith can move mountains
(Obstacles) and lack of faith can create many mountains( Obstacles), Indeed, omnipresent
and omnipresent Lord is our faith, strength and protection. By His grace, we
get peace in our homes, and as well as outside. Have faith in God and live in
His Will. Pay daily gratitude to the God Almighty for all He has given and
continues to give us, Stay happy make others happy
