You Can If You Think You Can
God, the Supreme Master of all, cannot be found merely by wandering in jungles, mountains, Caves or bathing in cold water and sitting in front of a fire. God cannot be found just by talking or placing rich offerings in front of any Deity or Demi-God or Sculpture. God can be realized, and His presence can be felt only when we get vibrations in our body during long meditation and singing holy songs of His praise. Those who practice Truth and meditate on the Naam of God they reap the profits, since they abide in the Will of God.
The God particle (also known as the Higgs boson) is within every living being, continuously monitoring and evaluating our deeds. We are weighed and measured by the invisible balance and the perfect scales of Truth. God Himself uses the scale with weights of truth and no one can hide the truth. The pleasure of God cannot be obtained by mere ringing bells at a place of worship, talking loudly, blowing horns or by reading loads of books/Scriptures.
Our body does not obtain purity without following a true Guru and loving God with full devotion. Our Gurus and Saints have advised us never to forget Naam, as that is the only way to get the blessings of God. Only a true Guru can unite us with the Creator (God Almighty). By meeting the Perfect True Guru,
we find the meditative reflection, and by surrendering ourselves to the Guru, we find universal love and peace. We find the wealth of liberation, and our demerits/ bad deeds are erased.
The Brahma, Naarad and Vyaas, the writer of the Vedas (Holy Indian scriptures), have clearly stated that without the Guru and remembering God through His Naam, there is no spiritual wisdom. When we sing or listen to Sabadh (Kirtan), which is the praise of God, we feel vibrations in our body. That is the state we get spiritual wisdom, peace, and happiness. True Gurus, like Lord Christ, Lord Mohammad, Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, Guru Nanak Dev, and many saints/prophets were messengers of God and giving us messages/advice of love, peace and truth.
This world-ocean is terrifying with no shore on this side or the beyond. There is no boat, no raft no oars, and no boatman to go across the vast and dark ocean. The True Guru is the only boat to take us across this terrifying ocean. Therefore, we must search for a true Guru and follow his advice
If we forget our Beloved God, even for an instant, many sufferings will overtake us and peace will depart. When we die our Souls depart empty-handed. Our physical bodies, our wealth, and our family members do not go with the departed soul. The departed soul carries only NAAM, if that has been earned during our life.
As per Hindu/Sikh scriptures, a common person does not complete the assigned tasks by God in one life cycle, and therefore rebirth is certain to clear past/pending accounts and earn fresh credit through NAAM. We do take rebirth in a family and in a place according to the Will of God and our past deeds. Our destiny is written in accordance with God’s Will. Indeed, our pre-ordained destiny cannot be erased. However, by sincerely reciting the Naam of the Lord, some pains can be mitigated by the grace of God.
Only through the Guru's Teachings, we are united in His Union. Without God, we have no one to call our own. Our soul and our breath of life belong to God. He can give or take away our breath/life any time, Some analogies are given below:
· Our mind is like a lotus in water (pond/lake). Although it gets tossed about by the waves, it still blossoms with love.
· In the water, many creatures like fish are created and they enjoy their life. The more the water, the more the happiness, and the greater the peace of mind for the water animals like fish. But without water, fish cannot survive, even for few minutes, and it will die. Our Gurus/saints advise us to love God like fish loves water.
· Likewise, songbird loves the rain. A raindrop in his mouth is like nectar. Although many pools/ponds/lakes may be overflowing with water, but all these of no use to the songbird until a single drop of rain falls into his mouth. The Song Bird keeps crying with a hope of getting a drop of rain directly from the sky. After some crying and begging, and by God’s Grace, the bird receives that drop of water which quenches his thirst
· Another example of true love is the water milk relationship. Water loves the milk. We do not heat pure milk in a pan. Instead, we add some water in the pan and then pour milk into it. The water we added to the milk bears the heat, and prevents the milk from burning. Likewise, if we put milk in water, it allows milk to keep its color and water has no ego.
Above examples show us the way to love God with utter devotion and no conditions. We do not bargain with God, we only seek His blessings. We are creations of God, and He loves to see His creations bloom and people live in harmony.
God bless all
